Review: Quickly removes odors for a fresh car / house - I am such a fan of the Fresh Wave Fresh Pod Odor Remover. I keep one of these on the inside of every trash can in our house, and it keeps even the strongest odors at bay. The pod holder has a dual stick adhesive that can easily stick on any surface, and can be removed when necessary without causing damage. It is also refillable, so once your pods odor removing super powers loose their luster, you can quick snap a new odor removing pack in. I recently spilled pickle juice, and unfortunately while I thought I cleaned it all out, is got into the produce drawer and caused quite the fridge fermentation. After pulling everything out and giving the fridge a deep clean, the odor still persisted. I left one of these in overnight and the smell was gone the next morning. I will also use these in my car to refresh the scent. I am pretty sensitive to scent. So, while care air fresheners can be overpowering and ultimately try to mask the stench these seem to remove the scent and leave a light freshness without being overpowering.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can the packs be opened to vacumn up the pearls so the vacuumn doesn't smell?**
A: They pearls are in a netted pack so yes, the netting can be cut open and the pearls can be poured out on the floor to vacuuming up.  Hope that helps

**Q: What does the original scent smell like?**
A: Yucky.  I replaced with a cotton ball treated with essential peppermint oil.

**Q: do these fit in the plastic pods for refills?**
A: I do not know the size of the plastic pods you refer to but let me try to be of some help.  Inside the bag are small netted pellets that are somewhat flexible in the small netted bag to be folded or scrunched up.  Not sure about the plastic pod size--sorry--hope this was somewhat helpful.

**Q: Has anyone tried putting the gel beads in these holders?**
A: I would not suggest that.   The gels are sticky and somewhat not degradable.    The holes in the pod holder and the sticky gels beads would be more of a mess.

The Good News: They Work: These little pods are surprisingly effective at neutralizing even the most pungent trash can odors. My kitchen no longer smells like a tuna factory, and that's a major win. Discreet and Convenient: The pods stick discreetly under the trash can lid and the refills are easy to insert. No more spraying questionable chemicals or lighting gag-inducing candles.
