I hope to never need to break the glass to get out of a car, but now I have that comfort. Additionally, that point would be an effective deterrent and, if necessary, a weapon. The tool is small but sturdy. It will lift the cap of a bottle and turn a screw. The little scraper could be just the tool needed in some cases but I was a little disappointed that it does not have a cutting edge. The flash light is very bright in close quarters and can light the way for you in the dark. I don't know how much the flashing mode would dissuade a villain but it is quite effective at getting someone's attention from across the room, auditorium or maybe even an arena. The pen writes smoothly. The package contains a pen refill and extra batteries for the flashlight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid pen. Built tough. Now the things I don't like. The on button for the flashlight is on the wrong side. Faces my body while riding in my uniform pocket. I'm afraid it might turn on when compressed against my body armor. Next gripe, I wish the cap would screw on over the glass breaker while writing. Friction is not enough to keep it from rocking back and forth. It needs to screw on for stability and to c\keep the cap from getting lost. Very nice pen otherwise. Excellent buy for a budget tactical pen.
