Review: Repeat buyer! - One of the two best I've tried. (The other is from Germany as well.) I always buy this when it's available. There's quite a lot packed into the jar. Very little liquid, so you don't have to rinse it unless you care to. Quite mild with no bitter tang. Requires a longer cooking time than others, which may be a drawback for some. Review: Excellent German saurkraut. Love the taste - I wanted to have some real German saurkraut and this was a winner. I love having a glass jar because I can use just the amount I need for a meal and store in the fridge for later. ## Features - Gundelsheim means you can enjoy sauerkraut the year round - Mild and fruity Gundelsheim Barrel Sauerkrau - Sauerkraut is low in calories and therefore suitable for dietary nutrition - Mild and fruity Gundelsheim Barrel Sauerkraut ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00E0N1AHA | | Age Range Description | All Ages | | Best Sellers Rank | #26,540 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #7 in Canned & Jarred Sauerkraut | | Brand | Gundelsheim | | Brand Name | Gundelsheim | | Coin Variety 1 | Cabbage | | Container Type | Jar | | Cuisine | German | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,192 Reviews | | Diet Type | Paleo, Vegan, Vegetarian | | Flavor | Traditional German | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Package Weight | 1.07 kg | | Item Weight | 1.8 pounds | | Manufacturer | Gundelsheim | | Model Number | 078192050554 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Package Information | Jar | | Package Size Name | 28.5 Ounce | | Package Weight | 1.07 kg | | Part Number | 078192050554 | | Size | 1.78 Pound (Pack of 1) | | Taste Description | Mild and fruity, with a balance of flavors and a hint of sweetness | | UPC | 798235681650 078192050554 | | Unit Count | 28.5 Ounce | | Variety | Cabbage | ## Product Details - **Item Weight:** 28.5 Ounces - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Package Information:** Jar - **Package Weight:** 1.19 Kilograms - **Variety:** Cabbage ## Images ![Gundelsheim Barrel Sauerkraut Vegetable Relish, 28.5 Ounce - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ryZ7VI9WL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this 100% raw and unpasteurized?** A: The label says, “pasteurized”.
