Many comforters say “organic” but are referring to only the fabric in the outside and are filled with polyester (plastic)Would not recommend if you are looking for a thick and warm comforter as it is very light and airy. If you sweat while you sleep this is a wonderful solution as it does not get wet and keeps you cool. The king is very large so difficult to clean in a standard washing machine so I plan to buy an organic duvet to put it in.I would like to eventually replace all bedding in the household with these, but they are an expensive replacement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like it *by S***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2018* Like that it is soft and light. Was for my 7 month baby and she enjoys it as well. Absolutely bad smell when you first open the box but all went away after the first wash before use. At first, I was mad to find it but realized that there is no other better option out there when it comes to organic cotton comforter and actually this brand is the best that I can try and trust. ### ⭐⭐ Regret getting it for a few reasons *by V***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2017* I was very happy to find a 100% organic cotton quilt/comforter which we were hoping to use in the warmer days. This one was a disappointment for a few reasons: the first one was that it was made in China. I'm sorry but I don't trust anything made in China even if it claims to be organic. Second: the cotton is not soft and makes a lot of noise. I hoped it would be less noisy and softer after I wash it but that did not happen. And the size : it's larger than standard queen duvet covers and was bigger making it bunch up a bit. We got queen size and the shams coming with it are huge.Overall I am disappointed spending $200 on it I regret getting it.It did wash and dry well, did not fall apart so I guess in those terms it's well made. Customer service got back to me quick but the only thing they did was give me a bunch of excuses and say hey are constantly trying to improve quality and appreciate my input (which was more of a complaint than input) . They suggested getting yet another product claiming it would be softer !
