Just based on the quality of the ink in the markers I had to have this set. There are two reasons though that I didn't give it five stars. For one thing as is very common with these gel pens, the ink runs out a lot quicker than I would like. But I'm telling you the quality of these pens on paper is worth it! They are just beautiful. The other reason they don't get a full five stars is that at least one of my pens did not work at all. I haven't tried all of them yet but anytime I pay for something and don't get everything I pay for it's always gonna annoy me. This is only my second time purchasing their products and it didn't happen with the first smaller set so maybe mine was just a one off. So in conclusion, I would say that these pens produce such beautiful results and are reasonably affordable that to me it's worth dealing with the knowledge that they run out of ink more quickly than I would like. For me personally, I use these just to create accents in my work. I wouldn't use these as the primary source of color due to the ink issue.
