Keeps hot. Would recommend *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 June 2026* Got three teapots prior to this. Fed up of dribbly tea. This one is ace. No dribbles pours beautifully. Have to keep spout clean though or it will dribble. Retainer cleaner tabs work well to descale with no residue taste. Keeps tea hot and not hot to touch. Brilliant. Great for 3-4 mugs of tea. I do crafts and can make a pot of tea n go back within an hour and still have not cold tea from it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fabulous teapot that really does keep the tea hot - and the spout really doesn't drip! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 January 2024* This is a fabulous little teapot (I got the 0.5L version, which is the perfect size for 1 or 2 mugs of tea). It keeps the tea hot for a good long time, so it doesn't go lukewarm while you're waiting for it to brew. Also, amazingly, the spout really doesn't drip! It's beautifully balanced and the sides get warm but not too hot to handle.I would prefer if the infuser were a bit longer, it sits a fair bit above the bottom of the teapot. I know it's necessary to have some space below to allow the flavour to circulate but I would have thought 1-1.5cm clearance should be enough - this one seems to be somewhere around 3cm above the bottom of the teapot. It means that if you only want to make one mug of tea, you end out adding more than a mug full of water, otherwise the water level doesn't reach the tea in the infuser.However, with a bit of experimentation I've finally just about got the knack of making a single mug of tea: I just stop pouring in the water as soon as I see the level come over the bottom of the infuser. That seems to be enough to soak into the tea leaves and allow the flavour to seep through into the water. Measuring it that way there's only a very small amount of tea left in the pot afterwards.All in all, this is a great little teapot. Just the right size for making one or two mugs of tea. It’s not beautiful, but it does the job. It pours nicely, cleans easily, keeps the tea hot for the relatively short period that I want it to, and I think is built to last. I have confidence in the latter because the maker/design seems to be the same as a coffee plunger I was gifted about 7 years ago that we happily use every day. A solid buy.
