It's a lovely purple shade and accurate to the shade on the bottle. I'm really impressed with this nail polish. It looks great on my nails, replicates the gel look really well and has lasted much longer than many other polishes I've tried. I used it alongside Barry M All in one Basecoat, Toapcoat and Nail Hardener so that may have helped with longevity and it's definitely a combination I'd use again. I got 4-5 days out of this polish before it started to show very slight signs of wear at the ends of my nails. That's really good going for me as I'm not particularly kind to my hands and I'm forever washing them. After another fresh top coat on day 4, I got a few more days out of it too, so it was a full week before i even thought about removing and replacing it. I like the applicator brush since it was easy to use in terms of accuracy. I'm really not that great at painting my nails so this is important to me. I found the polish to be quite fluid when applying it so had to wipe plenty of excess off the brush before using it but it dries thick (the attached photo is just one coat of colour) it covers my nail ridges well and has a really glossy shine to it, even without a topcoat. It's now become my favourite polish in my collection and at such a bargain price the only thing I need to decide now is which shade to try next. Great Barry M Paint, durability is great and lasts along time on my nails and brought numerous colours good value for money and would definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great nail polishes but variable in quality *by K***B on 21 April 2025* I love the Barry M Gelly collection of nail varnishes and own quite a few. They look like gel nails, even out my very ridgy nails, are shiny, easy to use and generally stay put well. So why 4 stars instead of 5? The quality of them varies a lot by colour. I've found that some are amazing, others chip very easily. They all go on well and look good, but some just don't stay. I should say I usually apply 2 coats, no base or top coat as I'm far too lazy - but some of these probably need a top coat to stop chipping. I should also say that I'm not easy on my nails - lots of hand washing, cleaning, chores. Mandarin - colour not quite as bright orange as in the picture but it's lovely, really smooth to apply and stays on without chipping for usually 4+ days. Pistachio - nice subtle colour, goes on and stays on for 4+ days. Spicy Mango - a darker browny-orange. A bit sticky and gloopy to apply, can last about 3 days without chips. Better with a top coat. Berry Parfait - my favourite. Applies smoothly and stays on the longest. Can get 5+ days without chips. Hot Chilli - love the colour, but chips almost instantly. Needs a top coat. The Barry M Plumpy top coat is good and shiny. Definitely buy these, but be prepared for a bit of variation in quality across the colours.
