If I had paid more I would have taken another star away! I got it for my Tom and Jerry loving 5 yr old (just turned 5). The game is simply enough for her to play but there is some strategy that she has a hard time understanding, so I try not to beat her every time or she will get frustrated and not want to play. The game gets a little long/repetitive - Everyone plays as Tom who is trying to catch Jerry... but you need to catch him 3 times to win the game. This can create a long *boring* game for a young player. Older kids might have a better time with it but I'm not sure. however, for the price it is a nice addition to a game collection ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ More fun than I expected *by B***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2012* I was kind of skeptical about buying this game, but my 6-year-old is obsessed with Tom and Jerry, so I thought it would make a good smaller gift for Christmas. It's your typical semi-flimsy cardboard game, with little tokens that can easily get lost, so I wouldn't say it's a keepsake by any means. However, I've been surprised by how much fun the kids have actually had playing this game. It's not super-complicated, so they could learn quickly, but it has a nice little element of strategy that keeps it interesting. On each turn, players get to choose one of two numbers for their move, which helps them stalk Jerry the Mouse better if they maneuver well. They are 6 year apart so it's hard to find a game that they both find fun. It's fast enough to entertain my 5 year old, and simple enough that my 11 year old doesn't get frustrated keeping him involved. Works great for a simple game night as well. I'm pleased with the purchase.Note: This is a very simple game with inexpensive pieces. I don't expect this to be one handed down to the next generation as the box won't last much longer.
