I installed this with no brackets and still had room to adjust the bar shorter. If you have a 4" lift kit with a 2.5" relocation bracket and a 2"ish drop pitman arm for example this would work great. If you only have a 2.5 lift personally i would only use this bar with no bracket to adjust axle placement. Which imo would give you better suspension geometry by keeping the drop arm for the steering and track bar closer to parallel, which would minimize bump steer. **Q: Bonjour i want to know if this Rough country trakbar part 1179 can be install on jeep jk without lift kit thank you habe a nice day** A: Yes it can. I installed it on my JK without a lift kit.
