**Q: Is the strap removable at both ends?**
A: Yes, the strap can be detached from both ends

**Q: Is this softer than the equivalent non-latex (non-signature) version? That one is too hard for me as I use it as a neck pillow.**
A: Its probably harder. I found it be more firm than the non-signature version.
