At the best price I could find here and even eBay. It's warm and cozy. It does not overheat you on hot summer weather, so it's excellent for summer too, to keep your feet from freezing from too much air conditioning while watching movies on the couch. It is adult size. I'm 5'5" and it reaches my chest. Pretty tight around the knees but it stretches a lot and thus it's not uncomfortable once your legs are in. Not sure about the composition but it does not irritate my skin (and I cannot stand acrylics and other synthetics on my skin) nor itches like wool does, so that's a huge plus.
