I have a terrible time with shoes. My feet are knobby and weird with high arches. As I got older, one has arthritis and the other has a bunion. It's rare to find shoes that fit right and don't hurt my feet in some way.These shoes have memory foam. When I put them on, it felt like my feet were encased in two clouds. They have sort of a platform sneaker vibe with very thick soles. However, they seem stable to walk in compared to other platform sneakers I have worn. They don't have any laces and the backs are open. I can just step right into them when I need to leave the house. They don't make my feet feel too hot or claustrophobic. Yet they have much more support and protection for my feet compared to other mules and backless shoes I have worn before. The 8 is a perfect fit and is my usual size. These are my new favorite shoes ever. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Size issues. 7 1/2 Medium is a tad bit bigger than my older pair *by T***H on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2023* These just came in from Amazon. I have this same pair that I bought a few years ago and wanted to get another pair as my old ones are starting to wear out. These were the only sneakers that I've never had foot pain while walking long distances.The older 7 1/2 M that I got in the actual Skechers store fit my foot like a glove. My foot never slipped out of the sneaker. The ones I just got, same size, don't fit like a glove. They are a tad longer from toe to heel, toe box is larger (the toe box in my older pair is just right and has plenty of room and envelopes my toes in just the right way without squishing them). Overall the sneaker is just a bit looser. My foot is actually slipping out, my foot doesn't slip out in my older pair that I am currently wearing.I'll keep these but will try the 7 M if they have them. If they fit like my old ones I'll change my rating and return the ones I just received. If they don't, I'll return both and make the trip to the Skechers store.By the way, my older pair was made in India and they got the fit correctly. The new pair is made in China. Skechers go back to your original manufacturing plant in India, China can't get the sizes right! I wear them for long walks with the dog, they're perfect for traveling. As these are chunky, white sneakers they go with most clothes. And they're durable. I bought my pair in Nov 2021 and have worn them every day since, there are some cracks and whimpers but that's about it.
