A: does it come in black

**Q: Can you position fan to blow straight up from base if mounted like picture?**
A: No. It does not pivot very much. An inch or two at most.

**Q: Is there any tilt (up & down) adjustment at all? If so, how much?**
A: Yes - don't know how much, but a real quality fan.  I use two fans in the back my SUV attached to a platform to keep my dogs cool - they love it

Bought this fan 11 years ago, and it's still working. No, it's not quiet, but it's not obnoxious either - no rattling. Can't understand all the negative ratings. We just got an older trailer that we're fixing up and I thought I'd try to find another 12v fan for it even though the older one we have still functions. The price is only $2 more than it was 11 years ago. Buying another two because these units are awesome.
