I am not sure about blue tooth technology for audio books (and it is not ready for the iPhone yet) Over the ear headphones are uncomfortable and heavy. So I use in-ear headphones and have found they do not last long, do not stay in place well and the cords tangle badly. I read reviews on these and since not expensive, took a chance. Have been using them for 5 months and am so happy that I will order a back-up set. They fit nicely in the ear, stay in place and the cords do not tangle. Sound quality is as good as the more expensive Bose and Apple headphones. If you make earbuds, and they have a background hiss, then that's a defective design, you should throw it away, not sell it. Also the cord on these is the most prone to tangling of any earbuds I've owned, it's a sort of grippy rubber that clings to itself like plastic wrap.
