## Description

The AquaGuard sheet is a waterproof disposable moisture barrier which keeps sites, wounds and dressings dry while the patient showers. AquaGuard provides millions of safe showers in hospitals and homes each year. AquaGuard features a specially designed medical adhesive that effectively protects the area from water while you shower and is gentle during removal. The 10x12 AquaGuard is the perfect size to protect: PICC LinesStomasKnee, Hip or Shoulder IncisionsDialysis CathetersOstomies The actual area of coverage is 8.5" x 9.75" (21.5cm x 24.5cm). Please measure your site/dressing to make sure it fits within the actual area of coverage. One sheet is needed for each shower. This package contains 7 sheets of AquaGuard.

Review: Works great if pleated like directed - Works really well to cover area after hip replacement surgery if done right! You have to use alcohol swab to remove any residue on skin where the patch will go. Most importantly you must learn how to pleat the sides & possible the bottom strip too. This allows you to have a pocket which lets you move without pulling off the patch. I didn’t pleat the first time & it came right off. I was frustrated & studied the directions to understand what they are talking about. Now they stay on great & no issues after I got the hang of it. They should have a video to show how to pleat so people have a good experience.

A: The plastic is about the thickness of a zip lock bag.

**Q: what is the thickness of the adhesive?**
A: Do you mean the width of the adhesive border, to know the space remaining that will not stick to the your wound or your picc line? I wish I could help, but it has been a very long time since I used this product and I do not have any left to measure.
