It died after 3 years, so it didn't owe me any money (Got it on a Black Friday sale). I decided to try this one, and I've been using it for about 3 months now. I use it without attachments to quickly dry my hair most of the way. Then I attach the mid-size brush and round out my shoulder- length bob. I LOVE the mid-size brush! It's smaller in diameter than the Babybliss was, and it's the main reason I bought this model. I get lift and smoothing. I kinda miss the auto-rotating feature that the Babybliss had, but it's still good without it. (Besides, I think the auto-rotating is one reason the Babybliss eventually died.) I can even use the smaller brush if I want a slight curl .Using the different speeds/intensities is confusing at first, but I think most people will figure them out after some practice. And if the device is melting, as some users said, then you're doing something wrong. Mine has never overheated.
