It is well packaged and and was pretty easy to put together. I struggled for a while until I re-read the instructions and figured out I needed the two longer bolts to put the ottoman together. I am short (5'6") and my legs don't quite touch the ground when I sit, but once the ottoman is deployed this is a Very Comfortable chair. The lumbar support is much better than what I had before and the leather is beautiful and very comfortable. The little knob to tighten the recliner is basically out of reach but that has not been a problem. I'm six feet and 230 lbs. The chair is very comfortable for me. I'm not so sure anyone over 6' 1" will find it as comfortable as the back of the chair would be to short to support their head.
