Review: Worth the cost. No hassle ink. - I keep buying these and the keep being great. I’ve tried other cartridges in an “improper attempt to save effort/time/money” and it never works out. These work just like they should, the ink is good. Nice opacity, smooth, dries fast & have a nice methylene blue color. I like ‘em and go through about a cartridge per week. If I take a few weeks away, no problem picking up and writing right away. No goobery globs or dried up nib. Fantastic ink. I’m not going to buy anything else.
Review: Large capacity cartridge & great color - For Christmas I received a Lamy fountain pen. It came with a complimentary cartridge. I knew I was going to run out so I replaced them them these lamey fountain pen ink cartridges. I thought it was a great deal. I got about 20 of them relatively inexpensively. I love the ink color. It's blue, but it's kind of like a faded blue. Almost like denim blue. I did find out the hard way that the ink is water soluble & can run if it comes into contact with water. So, it's not archival quality or water resistant but I still like it a lot. The ink flow is really well & works great with my fountain pen. I also think that the cartridges are longer than most. I think the ink capacity is very good. I will definitely buy this product again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does lamy make alcohol ink? i want to paint over the top of the fountain pen line art.**
A: I do not know. I suggest sending your question to Goulet Pen Company. They sell all kinds of pens, but many manufacturers, including Lamy products. Go to their website and ask them.

**Q: Are these erasable?**
A: No. The ink is water soluble, so you have to make sure you don’t get it wet as it will run. But does not erase. Sorry.

**Q: Where does this ship from? It’s been ten days since I ordered this and there’s no tracking information available because Amazon didn’t ship it.**
A: Lamay products are generally available locally at most stores which have fine writing implements. I live in Georgia, and I can get them at several local places, even, I believe, at Office Depot.

**Q: Does it works with Spain Inoxcrom fountain pens ? Thanks**
A: I don’t think so, this is Lamy’s proprietary ink cartridge

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dark blue Ink cartridge fits Lamy Safari Fountain Pen
*by E***A on October 10, 2020*

These ink cartridges are a good value compared to other sellers. The blue does appear to be darker than that of the previous (blue) ink cartridges, but: (a) it's definitely blue, not black, and; (b) as you write, the dark hue lightens somewhat. I have not yet figured out if the changing hue is due to the new cartridge, or if every time I start to write it'll start out dark and get lighter. Honestly, the change isn't very obvious. Had not other reviewers raised concerned about the color I probably wouldn't have even noticed.
