Having such a Game available on the Wii Game System, elevates game play to levels that could otherwise not be realized in the real world. There are Four separate and very different, very imaginative, and very cleverly designed Courses. Each new course is reached by achieving certain levels of proficiency in each Course. I, myself, have only been able to unlock one additional Course. The holes are challenging, but they are FUN challenging. If they were too easy, who would want to play? Some of those who complained about this Game give me the impression that they want the ball to roll into the hole for every shot. What I have not read in the other reviews (and I haven't read them all) is that you can choose the "Sim" mode in which you are actually swinging the Wii Controller to hit the ball, or the "Arcade" mode in which you move the controller back to to set how hard you want the ball to be hit, and then you press the "B" button. Using the Arcade Mode makes it much easier, but I actually enjoy the Sim Mode in spite of it being more difficult. (I went ahead and also purchased a Wii golf club to use with the controller.) The Courses are beautifully laid out, and I enjoy how the "camera" follows right behind the ball on those holes where there are tubes or ramps or hills that you have to go through, go over and go down. It is like having a "golf-ball-cam" chasing after the ball after you hit it. Do yourself a BIG favor and give this game a chance. Don't be talked out of a fun time! Again, you will NOT breeze through it. It will challenge you, as it did me. But the more I played, the better I got, and the more FUN the game became. Bottom Line: This is one of the most enjoyable Wii Games I own, but not because it is easy. It is challenging... but it is also something you can get really good at, with effort! The graphics are okay but the game it self is clunky and hard to use. The putter, is to touchy and rarely goes where it is pointed. I did not like that I to work through different courses to get to another. It would have been okay if the first one was not so dim since it had a cemetary /halloween plot.Bottom line don't buy it. This rocks, look at the screen shots this games GFX are better than average for Wii, the NuYu characters are better than Mii characters, way more funny, they respond to how you play and celebrate or get sad when you miss, this really adds to the fun feel we get when we play the game. Most important of all, the game plays fantastic, varied amazing twisted courses, truing to hit the ball between the dodgem cars, kept the kids screaming with delight! and it has the most realistic play i have ever tried, it is a real golf swing with the Motion plus. Perhaps the 1 star-ers are still doing a dumb waggle your wrist that gets than a hole in 1 in the other games, this is the real deal, my kids love it, its a real familly fun game.
