Years ago I’ve read Kiyosaki’s RDPD, and Cashflow Quadrant. I’ve attended various local seminars, workshops, etc. all felt like they were selling a course of some kind, paid mentorship that were all expensive and you would spend a fortune before you get to know what you need to know. While Kathy’s book is very comprehensive, gives you advantages and disadvantages, pitfalls to avoid, tips to look out for. And most importantly where to go and what to look out for. Updated Information: Bought my first rental property in Oct 2024, had some challenges with unexpected cost from repairs to pass city inspections. Bot my first tenant in May 2025. With a 30-year fixed mortgage and a possible increasing rent annually, I think I am setup already for the future. And I intend to repeat everything every 2 to 3 years and buy the next property. Enough to get maybe 3 rental properties total before I retire and will continue to try doing it until I still can. And have enough to leave with my children before I pass away.
