Review: 700 x 30c - excellent! - I am upgrading these 700x30c tires on my trek madone gen 5. I read all available forums and asked chat GPT if I could upgrade from 25c to 30c, and the reply I received was - impossible. Nevertheless I bought 30c and installed them on my bike. They fitted very well, and I think 30c is the maximum you can put on trek madone gen 5. I also tested the bike, 30c tyres are way better on London’s roads, much smoother and to be ones faster than 25c. Absolutely love these tyres. They also look better on rims. So 5 stars!

**Q: 700cc x 28? is this correct?**
A: It depends on the size you selected, but, yes 700c x 28 is a valid size for these tires.

**Q: is 28mm the same as 700x28c?**
A: Yes. Tire size are often described differently. You may see a tire listed as 700c x 28 or 700 x 28C. It is the same size.
Personally, I’m always wary of a seller that just list the tire as 28 mm with out expressing the rim size.

**Q: To be 100% clear, this is the one that doesn't need an inner tube?**
A: Yes, tubeless tires do not need an inner tube.

The important thing to remember is that your rims must be compatible with tubeless tires.

**Q: What tire pressure are folks using with this tire for road bikes? I'm 155 lbs and the bike is maybe 18 lbs.**
A: I depends on the wheel I believe, I use the zipp tire pressure calculator and it gives me 58psi front and 62psi back on 28mm width in dry conditions
