They're about 1.5" by 6", making them easily visible. They seem to be sticking to cardboard boxes well, but I just applied them today so we'll see if they stay put. I am VERY disappointed in the company's quality control! I received three duplicates (living room, kitchen, and bedroom #2) and am missing three rooms (dining room, master bedroom, and bedroom #4). I will be able to make do, since I'm moving a two-bedroom house, but I think you should get what you pay for and what is advertised.
