Our idea was to build the base generator and then change out the magnets (sold separately - we used a couple of sizes from the ***ELECFIND 80PACK, 5, 6x3, 8x3, 10x3,12x3,15x2, Round Refrigerator, Fridge Magnet Disc(Multiple-Sizes), silvery*** The big magnet in that pack generated some good current, but you could only fit two of the magnets on the kit's nut. Still, it demonstrated what we wanted because even with two magnets the big ones churned out the Amps!). This was easy to do if you buy the right size magnets. We were able to demonstrate that weaker magnets generate less current than stronger magnets.Building the generator was easier than I expected it to be; if you are the type who can assemble Walmart furniture then you should be able to do it.There are lots of demonstrations and experiments that are included in the booklet, but like I said we just needed a generator base. The neat thing is you could use it as a base for all kinds of mad scientist stuff, which is especially cool if your child is into tinkering or mad scientist stuff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for school projects *by K***R on January 13, 2020* My son used this for a science project.
