Creates a great permanent bond! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Real Time Saver but Tricky to Use *by E***2 on May 28, 2022* This hem tape saves an enormous amount of time by allowing you to avoid having to sew hems on clothes that don't fit, or it saves a lot of money by avoiding paying for a sewing service. The tape is sticky on both sides and remarkably strong and resilient. I thought it would start detaching after a few washes, but I used it on several items of clothing and never ran into that problem. The items of clothing wore out eventually and were discarded without the hem tape ever being a problem. I did not give 5 stars because the tape is very difficult to apply properly. The folding of the clothing and the alignment of the tape have to be very precise, but the tape is so strong on both sides, that a small mistake can lead to a crease in the clothing, and then you have to start all over again. That's not easy because you then have to scrape off the tape that stuck, without damaging the clothing.
