I cannot currently comment on the durability or washability of the product. But, again, i'm using this a little outside the scope of what it is intended for, so i wouldn't necessarily blame any potential durability issues on the product anyways. as others have noted, you should not sew through your fabric once you have used this adhesive on it. I am very surprised that such a warning is not included on the product or even in the online documentation for the product... because every other similar product i have ever seen has such a warning.
