Pigments Our quality standards include the use of single pigments wherever possible to create individual colours. **Q: Is the silver paint a metallic (shimmery) color?**
A: No, if you want a shimmery metallic get it with iridescent white.  Also the medium you use will make a difference

**Q: What is the difference between french ultramarine and ultramarine blue?**
A: It's my understanding that French Ultramarine has a little more red in the pigment than the Ultramarine. I use both (French UM was suggested for a class I was taking), but to tell you the truth, I've never detected any difference between the two.

**Q: is this acrylic pain?**
A: Feedback to Amazon and or Winsor Newton: Confusion is due to the description regarding the pigment. It actually says that the substrate is mixed with acrylic. Since everyone confirmed this, that text should be modified & or further described to misspell this issue.

**Q: What is the difference between french ultramarine and ultramarine deep?**
A: Ultramarine is a transparent color. The deep ultramarine is darker but still transparent. Consult
