As a voiceover artist and singer, I'm picky about microphones . I needed a mic to travel with that wasn't expensive but had a good polar pattern and picked up my voice well enough to get through auditions (I do 10 a day). I run into a Duet which has clean pre's and allowed this mic to shine. It has good presence and isn't bass heavy, more of a fairly transparent mic for frequencies and no coloration. I utilize Nectar to get more of my character which I try to have standard throughout VOs as buyers normally like them flat so they can be put in the mix as they need. I've been pretty worried about being on the road without a redundant setup but this mic lets me duplicate my setup for a fair cost.Overall, it is a great mic. I didn't try out the boom arm but it'll be helpful if you didn't have one setup already. I would also recommend boosting frequencies around 1 KHz if you're using this for singing.
