The salt appears to be present only as a component of Dead Sea water - so, more saline than most water, and with a variety of minerals, but all at very low concentrations. If it hadn't been heavily discounted (60% off) when I bought it, I would definitely return it. As it is, I'll probably try it once or twice and then toss it. I was hoping to replace an exfoliant that came in similar packaging (convenient!), worked well, & smelled great. I don't particularly like the smell of this one, & doubt it will do much of anything. The box lists a bunch of natural ingredients that may appeal to some (willow bark, mate leaf, arnica montana, some algae products, etc), but not to me; again, the only indication of any kind of salt is "Dead Sea water." The only citrus product is orange peel oil ( it does smell faintly, & a little unpleasantly, of this); the only floral indication is the arnica (wolf's bane, when I looked it up - shows up in a lot of products for its supposed medicinal properties, not for its scent).
