Have wood floors so it doesn't stay in place. Also, it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be so she can't go on the middle shelf as she doesn't fit. She also can't go inside the tunnel at the bottom because it's really small...I can fit my arm through and that's it. Very well constructed, the instructions for putting it together were clearly stated and easy. I love it - however my cat does not. :) She has yet to use it, it looks lovely in our living room though and at times we put a pillow on it to make room on the couch, but the kitty doesn't seem to quite grasp what she should do with it. Ha ha! I highly recommend this tree, though, it really is great.
