I have it upside down soas not to suffocate the macbook (the vents are at the top of the keyboard, where the screen and body meet, so you can't put that side in the stand), which makes for some awkward cable angles and such, but seriously not a big deal.It works fine and I think you get exactly what you pay for (in a good way).There are alternatives that allow for better ventilation, and I'm sure those are great, but I think this works just as well.
