While nothing too fancy, it does the job and keeps the case affordable.The Look & Feel:This review is of the clear version with the black along the frame. Made of clear polycarbonate molded with high grade TPU, it offers a combination of looks and protection. It is a very appealing looking case and the black lines on the back of the case aren't just for looks, they also serve a purpose. Not only do they add nicely to the aesthetics, they also are rubberized so they add grip. Grip for both while you are holding the phone and while it sits on a desk to prevent sliding. Those lines extend out to each corner of the case and there is an indention in the black rubberized plastic. Another nice touch which is mostly aesthetic in this instance. Along the right and left side of the case, there are slanted lines that protrude from the clear plastic. They add nicely to the aesthetics but also adds some nice grip. A very nice touch. To finish things off, there is some company branding on the bottom backside of the case. It isn't very intrusive at all.The Protection:On the protection front, I would say it is medium grade. It is definitely not in the heavy duty category, but it would definitely protect for the everyday bumps and small drops. I think it is a perfect amount of protection for someone who doesn't want a super slim case that won't have much protection, but doesn't want anything as bulky such as an Otterbox. As I said, this one falls right about in the middle. It will do the job in most normal situations.The Build:To keep this pretty simple, this is a well made case overall. The case feels good and substantial enough to be confident in it. Something that often doesn't get enough attention is how the buttons feel with a case on. I am very happy to report that the button feedback with this case is nothing short of fantastic. The buttons are actually easier to press with this case on than without it. All of the port cutouts are precise. The clear polycarbonate is very clear, we will see how that holds up over time. I'm also happy to report that the case fits snug and I didn't notice it being loose at all.The Verdict:Overall, this case is a win. It is well made, protects a respectable amount, and has the looks to match. And all at a reasonable price of under $13 at the time of this review. I have no problem recommending this case to anyone in the market for a nice case that will protect, show off your phone and look good in the process. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Minimal design, attractive and inexpensive with good protection *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2017* So far so good. It is an attractive caseminimalist with a lip around it that prevents the screen from touching the surface if it is laid face downI am glad I got the black one for me because the clear case isn't really clear on the sides, and the black just blends in with the phone better.My wife had a different clear case, a "Trianium [Clarium Series] Samsung Galaxy s8 plus cover" but we sent it back, that case did not protect the screen when laid face down, it was a disaster waiting to happen.I would prefer for the corners to be softer, and therefore more shock absorbing, but for $10.00 you can't complain. I have already dropped the phone once from about chest height, phone landed right on a corner. There likely would have been some damage if I did not have the case.Minimal design that keeps the phone's attractive form factor and provides good protection from drops from a reasonable height...all for only $10.00...what more could you ask for?UpdateAfter a few days still impressed with the case, it feels like it isn't even there. From the back, still shows off the attractiveness of the phone (I have silver) and from the front the black really complements the phone's black accents. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good for the price *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2018* Overall, this a compelling case for the price of $7.95. It has a clear back, corners are well-protected, cutouts are perfect, and it looks good. One quibble I have with the construction of the case is that the left side is slightly too large. It gives a tiny bit if you push hard enough, and sometimes even without using much pressure at all. It doesn't hinder the usage of the case, as the phone remains firmly seated in it, but it's something I noticed.I have two minor issues with the design of the case. First is that there is a small cutout behind each button. In good lighting, you can see directly to the metal frame of the phone. I don't see the purpose of this, and it seems like it would be easy to dust to get into the case through these gaps. Second, the sides are made of a glossy TPU rather than the matte on the corners and buttons.
