Sturdy metal, feels very firm in the hand and not at all flimsy.Coloring is very attractive, with a nice metallic shine to the surfaces. Constructed of only 3 pieces, the front and back pane, and a small rod through the hinge. Nothing to chip off or wear to affect the quality. Does pick up fingerprints extremely easily though..Back panel is textured with horizontal lines. This looks nice (making the back not look plain) and makes it a tiny bit easier to hold, though the metal is not slippery and it's not necessary for grip.All edges and corners on it are rounded, making for no corners to scratch yourself on. This is especially noticeable because the edges all feel sharp, but are dull enough to be no problem (just feels kinda like running your finger on the dull side of a knife).The holder closes very firmly, require some mild force to open. It's firm enough that while I can open it one handed, I have to position my hand just right and apply much more effort than is comfortable. It can fit about 5 regular credit cards, maybe 6 if they're the kind without the embossed card number and card holder name. I bought a 3 pack of stick-on rubber credit card sleeves and stuck one on each side of the case, each holding 2-3 additional cards that I often use. So far, it is working out great.
