Review: Best gloves - These fit really good and they have great grip. I drop fish or get pricked by the fins if I use my bare hands. They don’t slip out of these gloves. Also keeps me from getting dirt and gunk under my nails as I usually have long acrylics. Definitely recommend.
Review: Fits the bill! - I have a pair similar to these and I’m getting one for a friend who doesn’t have any and I can say that they are wonderful to have when you are trying to get that fish off the hook. The material in the palm area really grips the fish so that it doesn’t slide out of your hands and it protects you from the slippery trout! They are wash And waterproof and are thick enough that you don’t get poked with the hook accidentally. They have some elastic to them so I would imagine they would fit several size hands although these look like they will fit someone with medium hands. They should last for a long time due to the material. I imagine that they also could be warm, but I would not use them for winter type gloves, but they could come in handy while fishing to protect your hands from the cold water.

**Q: what size are these gloves?**
A: The pink ones are women's medium to large. It's way to big for my hands--which fits small sized gardening gloves which look exactly the same construction as these fishing gloves.

I will be returning these.

**Q: Do they block your hands from getting wet?**
A: The top (pink part) is not water proof, but the bottom (grey part) is, so your hands won't get wet from holding fish, but if you dunk your hand in water, it will probably get wet :-)

**Q: Will these protect hands against bass spiny dorsal fin?**
A: this is an excellent non-slip glove but it offers little protection from cuts or punctures - if you need protection then purchase a glove that is designed to protect level 4 or 5 like kevlar.  - actually if you handle the fish by swiping down from the head you should be fine .

**Q: What size is the glove?**
A: I have small hands. I wear size 6 ring on my ring finger. And these gloves fit perfectly. Not too snug and not loose.

I have a pair similar to these and I’m getting one for a friend who doesn’t have any and I can say that they are wonderful to have when you are trying to get that fish off the hook.
