I saw some other reviews said that they had issues getting their markers to show up. The magnet on the back is super strong and the writing surface is durable. Although it didnt come with the chalk markers, I would reccomend this board because of the quality. I bought the chalk markers at walmart for a few dollars. I really like the layout of this board. In addition to the daily menu, I can write what i need from the grocery store on it and other misc notes.
