I used it on 3/8"ID x1/2"OD Type K copper tubing which is thick walled and it worked fantastic. The degrees marks worked great also for my bends I think one of the best things is that it will bend 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" all with one awsome bender!!!! The bends are smooth and there's plenty of leverage for 1/2" aluminum tubing. I have steel tubing, but have not yet made any bends. If necessary, I can always add heat to the steel to make it easier to bend. My only complaint is that this bender is made in China.
