Review: Average cooling, looks good, nice leds - Cooling is just average. Most of the cooling pads arent good enough to cool the laptop. The fan speed could be better. Since many of the fans are running on 5v its not enough too cool laptop. It just works and provide little cooling. Size of pad is good and large. I am using for 14 inch Macbook and its okayish. Lights look nice and good. Build quality is also good. They use a usb a. to usb a cable to cut costs. Its not a premium brand. Top part is metallic. I have a KLIM pad with a rotary fan and it performs better than this, though it doesnt look this good. Even though the cooling isnt that good, its good to be used when keeping laptop on bed as it gives an elevation and air circulation

**Q: Which way do the fans blow the air?  Up into the laptop, or do they pull the air down and away?**
A: It blows up into the computer.

**Q: I'm trying to find the best cooler for my Acer nitro 5 so the fans stop kicking into overdrive would this be best ?**
A: In my experience, it helps a bit, but won't stop your laptop from getting very hot, hence the fans running full speed.  I have a Dell G7 with the GeForce RTX 2070, and anytime the GPU starts up, it gets uncomfortably hot.  I have tried a few coolers, and did like this one the best because of the position of the main fan being at the very top, which is exactly where my laptop becomes the hottest. It keeps top temps down a bit, better than the other coolers I have tried, but don't expect it to keep fans from going into overdrive.
