The first thing I did with this growler was to fill it with cold water and test if it would heat up on the induction burner. Despite its concave bottom, the water came to a boil about as fast as it would have in the flat bottomed teapot. I was debating whether to review this product. I think the seller would much rather have had a first-reviewer that used the mini-keg for dispensing beer. I simply tug on the ring and there is a satisfying *fsssh* as air rushes in to fill the vacuum. Unfortunately, it came with a defective O-ring. This spilt my beer and it went flat wasting the entire keg. I reached out to the company twice with no response. I then reached out to Amazon who asked the company to contact me. After two weeks, I have still not heard back from them. This is a $.10 part that was defective.
