Review: Perfect smash burgers - I was a little dubious at first about the price of these items. They seemed too cheap to be any good. Boy was I wrong. The turning spatula has a nice sharp, perfectly flat edge that over Saturday evening helped me make over 150 smash burgers perfectly. The handle is strong and no sign of play in the scales or rivets. The smash device works well too. This isn’t a flat plate, but will make evenly flat patties from 120-140g beat balls. This was just what I needed. Finally the salt shaker is brilliant too. The top screws on and off to fill with your seasoning of choice. For me that’s sea salt, black pepper and garlic powder. The holes are big enough for pepper to pass through and not just salt. Excellent piece of kit.
