For the rest of y'all, it's a choice: you can order a piece of PVC on Amazon, at the same time as you order the planter, and then cut it, and still save about $20 vs. the regular retail price...probably worth it, but up to you.The planters themselves are great for my rooftop garden; they have just the right amount of breathability and drainage, don't add enough weight to worry about, and I can even slide them around on the concrete, when I have to. I have veggies, herbs, perennials, fruit and ornamental trees all doing great in these. In five more years, I'll probably order them again. :D Here are some pics of the 36x16, 72x16, 36x36 models, respectively. As you can see in the middle photo of the 72x16s, the center pipes show in Winter, but the plant growth completely covers that, Spring through Fall. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick to put up *by U***2 on Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2018* My wood planter rotted out after 10 years so I tried this. I really like it so far. Easy to put together, It holds all the dirt I need in it. I can grow plants 3 deep. As in Day Lillies, Oriental Lillies, and Coneflower. I know it would work for vegetables as well. We used old bricks around it so we could sit next to it. There are certainly connections for them.
