Review: Lovely paint boards for beginners and children - I love these for my beginners! I have an art studio, and I offer free classes to children with emotional challenges that do not do well in traditional therapy. I needed a cost effective means to provide canvas type art exercises, and these boards helped provide that at a fraction of the price of traditional canvases. They cure well and when gessoed, handle a large volume of paint well. However, if not primed properly, they will buckle with alit of moisture. I don't think they work well with any type of pour painting, and a couple of times, the canvas lifted from the cardboard backing as the paintings cured. Definitely not a good fit for watercolours. Nice, simple, fairly sturdy for multimedia work, mind they aren't overly wetted or worked. Slim thickness, and perfect for framing.
