## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this water fluoride free ?**
A: According to the 2016 NSF International (until 1990, known as the National Sanitation Foundation) analysis of Icelandic Glacial water, there was no detectible flouride in their tested samples. When the Laki fissure volcano erupted in 1783, it sent enormous quantities of fluorine and sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere as the lava degassed on reaching the surface. So it is probable that the hardened lava has minimal fluorine residue, under the reporting limit. But that is just my opinion, I trust this water more than American bottled water brands, many of them from Nestle's. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0289/0132/files/NSF_Test_Report_Source_Water_2016.pdf?634833958458951797

**Q: what is the deuterium level in parts per million?**
A: This is from a web-site one of their distributors "The level of deuterium in this water is -53,4‰, which means that it is -53,4‰ less than ocean water. Ocean water is used as the guide for measuring deuterium content of water and is approx 155ppm deuterium. This means this water has a deuterium level of approx 148ppm." I believe I saw this text directly on the icelandicglacial.com web-site, but cannot find it anymore.

**Q: Water experts - anyone how this compares to Ice Age Glacier?**
A: Both are good. My preference is Icelandic. The Icelandic water is a bit harder compared to Ice Age. The Icelandic water also has a very subtle sweetness to it. If money isn't a concern, you must try, Svalbarði Iceberg water.
A good resource for all bottle water is, finewaters.com. They list mineral content, estimated age, source details, etc.

**Q: Anyone test the Ph besides the one bad review anyone else verify the ph level for me?**
A: If you are going to tell us you tested this water you should be including your testing method! It can make a big difference and weed out fakers. I used to bread tropical fish on a commercial level so I know all about testing water especially PH. For the person who said PH 6 was acid it's not it's actually PH neutral, it's what you would get if you tested water coming out of a 1 micron RO filter. Anything below that is a base or acid and above is alkaline. I have used an RO system for my drinking water for the last 20 years and the water by it's self does not make me more or less acid. I suffer from bile reflux and acid reflux also ulcers. I have to take meds and normally would have chewed down at least 5 or six tums a day. I have a bottle of this water a day and I haven't touched a tums in over 3 months. I go for the water when I'm feeling acid and after the first swig I can feel a difference. If it wasn't alkaline nothing would happen or I would get worse but I get immediately better. Enough said

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best water
*by on Reviewed in the United States August 10, 2026*

I literally waste time reading up on what waters are good for you and which ones are crap. This is one of the best ones. It rates very high on purity, cleanliness, minerals, etc. great taste, and most of the time you can get it on sale or a good price point.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST TASTING
*by on Reviewed in the United States August 1, 2026*

Very expensive, but the tastiest bottled water I’ve ever found.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glacier Water
*by on Reviewed in the United States June 8, 2026*

There is not much to say! Icelandic Glacial water is about the best water I have ever tasted. I compared it to my home’s reverse osmosis salt system from a well, and a popular brand of spring water available at the grocery store. I can detect a difference in each of the 3 glasses of water. The Icelandic water tasted the best. No after taste, no smell, crystal clear-the only word I can think of to describe it is “smooth” incredibly smooth, and thirst quenching.
