It is soft but can't be much comfort to my dog on the bottom of his crate. **Q: Anyone who machine washed the blankets, how does it look like now? Still good?** A: Still looks good. I washed the blanket in cold water, delicate cycle for 5 minutes. Used no scent, sensitive detergent 1/4 cup. I washed the blanket with the rest of dog/baby blankets. Dried on low for 15 minutes.
