## Overview

The Kali Audio IN-8 is an 8-inch active 3-way nearfield studio monitor featuring a coaxial midrange/tweeter design and 140 watts of tri-amped Class D power. It offers ultra-low distortion, a unique bass reflex system, and an innovative Boundary EQ for customizable sound tailored to any studio space. With a frequency range of 37 Hz to 25 kHz and a max SPL of 114 dB, it delivers transparent, lifelike audio ideal for professional music production and mixing.

## Description

3-Way 8″ near field monitor with coaxial midrange/tweeter As a further development of the successful LP-8, the IN-8 features the same sophisticated bass reflex system and the same level stable woofer. Instead of the usual tweeter with 3D imaging waveguides, however, a coaxial midrange-tweeter combination was installed. The profile-optimised 4″ midrange driver also functions as a waveguide. By limiting the peak excursion to 1 mm, intermodulation distortions that otherwise occur in coaxial systems could be avoided. The midrange driver also relieves the woofer and tweeter, so the IN-8 plays more harmonically and distortion-free than conventional 2-way studio monitors. The crossover frequency of the woofer is 330 Hz, making the IN-8 an acoustic point source. Phase cancellations on the vertical axis will be looked for in vain. Instead, the IN-8 has an even dispersion pattern over the entire frequency response with excellent bass staggering and localization. The stereo image also benefits from the coaxial arrangement and allows a detailed mix. Thanks to the "Boundary EQ" known from the LP series, the IN-8 can be adapted to different studio environments as easily as its sister models. features: Active 8″ near-field monitor 3 way system with coaxial midrange/tweeter Low-distortion, transparent sound lifelike stereo image realistic localization and depth graduation Unique bass reflex system Innovative "Boundary EQ" to adjust the sound in different studio environments Class D amplifier Power: 140 watts (60/40/40 watts tri-amp) 8″ woofer / 4″ midrange / 1″ soft dome tweeter Frequency range: 37 Hz - 25 kHz Max.
