Product Description Tyvek coverall is composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont. Tyvek provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited use fabric technology. Tyvek fabric offers an inherent barrier to small size particles. Protection is built into the fabric itself; there are no films or laminates to abrade or wear away. Tyvek fabric's durability advantage over microporous film fabrics delivers consistently better barrier, even after wear and abrasion. Applications include: lead and asbestos abatement/remedation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, general clean-up. I reuse mine when I spray stain on fences and when I treat my fruit trees with herbicide. My wife washes it on gentle and then I hang it up to air dry. These are extremely high quality for the price. I wear a 2x shirt and the 2x suit fit just fine, with a little wiggle room left.

**Q: Can wear this suit in outer space?**
A: You can wear anything in outer space. But I think the question is whether you'll survive with this suit. The answer to that is no—you will die from a very cold temperature due to the lack of insulation in this suit unlike a space suit. However, you will still be wearing the suit regardless.

**Q: is it cool wear for summer**
A: I wouldn't characterize it as "cool" exactly, but it is incredibly lightweight which makes it more comfortable than the mechanic's coveralls i used to use for outdoor work.  i actually use the tyvec suit for things like weed whacking and mowing to protect against mosquitoes and ticks and flying bits of poison ivy. my handyman uses it while removing old sheetrock and fiberglass insulation. it's fabulous protection at a low price.

**Q: is this washable?**
A: short answer, No.It cxan be cleaned on the outside, but is not 'washable' and should really be properly disposed of after use with any chemicals or exposure to materials like lead or asbestos

**Q: I'm 6'2" and will be spraying serious weed killer. No place for a too-short suit. Will Dupont's product cover me?**
A: Just don't spray serious weed killer.  It causes liver damage to ALL living things including you.   Other less harmful but equally effective weed killers exist - salt solution being one of them.

Full disclosure; mine was free because the vendor cut a hole in it with a box opener when they opened the larger package of these. However, while it works very well, I tore a fairly big hole in the crotch area when I crouched down to work on something. I realize that you get what you pay for but I would have expected Tyvek to be a bit stronger than that. Still, for ~$10 it's pretty solid.
