I highly recommend this product and service. No landline, nor internet needed, and setup wasn't too difficult.

**Q: Who warranties the unit?  What happens if you lose or damage it?**
A: Thanks for your question.  As long as the monthly service is active, LifeStation will replace the unit under warranty if it stops working.  For loss or damage, we offer an Assurance Plan to cover those type of issues.

**Q: where does the alert go to?  911 police station?**
A: No. It goes to a service center rep who can call 911 if you need/request it.  I believe they will contact 911 if they get no response after you push the button.  Remember, this unit allows you to talk with a service rep once you press the button.  The unit is kind of like a cell phone which only calls the service center when the button is pushed.

**Q: How much extra does fall detection cost?**

Fall detection is an extra $10 per month. Please call our customer service line at any time if you would like this feature turned on.

**Q: Is this transmitted through cell device or satellite? my husband is going out hiking in another state and there is no wifi or cell service. would thi?**
A: This device ie a tiny AT&T cell phone. If there is not AT&T service where you are, it will not work.  The GPS in this device only records your location when the device off and back on.  It does no track you as you change locations.

### ⭐ No one answered the phone for 2 days to Activate the Device!!!!!

I got this for my mom who just left a skilled care facility to live alone. I called for 2 days and no one ever answered to activate the device. She needed it immediately. How can an emergency device not have anyone to answer the phone to activate it? I have never written a review before, but this was ridiculous. My goodness what kind of response will they have in an emergency with a person. If you buy a device like this, it is an emergency to get the device activated and working. You don't have 2 days to hope someone will call you. Plus there was no message informing me of anything, just music playing forever and then disconnection. I sent it back.
