It is very cheaply, poorly made and the instructions are on a very small piece of paper and the printing is very tiny you have to read it with a magnifying glass and then the translation from Chinese into English is horribly done and makes it sound like gibberish so that you can understand at all what they're telling you to do to use the thing. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this piece of junk! **Q: Will this player loop?** A: I am not joking, buy another brand. It was complete garbage and I was not able to use it because of the quality of the recording. **Q: Does this recorder use cassette tapes?** A: No. It is digital. You can erase and record over and over again. **Q: Is this good for recording college lectures?** A: The one I received didn't work... I received an email from the seller after my feedback went live to apologize for the faulty piece and they offered to send me a new one for free. Unfortunately, I've already ordered another Voice recorder and upon knowing this they issued full refund. My bad that I never contacted seller to make it right and hurried to put the negative feedback. It's so kind of the seller, that they're paying great attention to their customer's satisfaction. Now, that is what I call great customer service. Things especially electronics can be faulty sometimes but this is commendable on the seller's part that they're trying to reach out to the customers.Below is my original review....I would've given it 0 starts if I could. Worked fine the first time. Stopped in the middle of the recording 2nd and 3rd time. Only worked for an hour for the 4th time and just refused to turn on the 5th time. This is the most disappointing purchase ever on Amazon despite of good reviews..Yes, I used it correctly! Read all the instructions. I'm technology savvy and know how to operate things.
