Considering that the price is the same as all of the other manufacturers, I see no reason not to run the faster timing. My Lenovo X1 Extreme immediately detected the XMP profile and gave the 15 timing. Is this any faster than the 17 or 19 that I see from the other big names? Supposedly, but it's not like what I do with this laptop will need every tenth of a percent. The heatsinks look huge in the picture but are pretty much paper-thin.
