Great socks for running, even in heat. Fit well and snug, but not too snug.

This is the third pair of Hilly socks ordered, and they all exhibit the same problem. They crush your toes, so when you've run a marathon (my wife) or half marathon (myself) your toes feel like they've been hit with a hammer. Not sure why this is, they are presumably very tight, even though the correct sizing was ordered and the socks were not uncomfortable to put on. My wife has run two marathons this year, and I've done 2 halves, the experience was the same each time. Toes were not visibly damaged and the feeling wore off after 3-4 days. These are premium-priced socks, but the experience has not been. Sizing appears adequate, they are not small. Sadly for my wife and I these are not marathon socks and won't be used again.

Ordered these socks on recommendation. I was a reductant buyer as my usual socks are cheap and cheerful. But having just been out for a 10 mile run, they were bliss. Love them!! I'm a size 5, ordered the small and they're a comfortable snug fit, no baggy bits to cause blisters. I'm going to be ordering more!! Converted!
