## Overview

The Dewert Lift Chair Clevis Mount is a robust and stylish component designed to securely fasten Dewert motors to chair frames. ## Description

This was the most common Dewert actuator used a few years ago on standard lift chairs made by Pride and Mega Motion. This actuator has one lead, a male two (2) prong flat blade/round blade connector that plugs into an extension cord coming from a transformer that sits behind the chair (MBZ) or to a transformer that mounts on the side of the actuator (MB1) PLEASE NOTE: there are several different Megamat actuators that have been used on lift chairs, and this fits most of them that have only one motor in the chair. If your chair has two motors, this one may or may not be the correct one. Also, if your motor is not even trying to run, it is very doubtful that the motor is the problem, as these motors hardly ever go out when they are dead silent... Usually, the problem is in either the hand control or the transformer. If any questions at all, please let us know before you place your order. We realize that nearly all our competitors state that you must give them the serial # of the chair before they can help. In reality, we hardly ever need the serial # to get the most common parts for a chair. If you read and follow the description above, and the pictures look like what you have, then you can be assured that the part will work for your chair. We do this every day, all day long, and have gotten pretty good at determining what will work for the chair you have.

**Q: Is this unit metal?  Considering the price, I'm hoping for titanium.**
A: Hello,
The #8240 clevis mount is made of a HARD PLASTIC material that fastens the base of the MBZ and MB1 Dewert motors to the frame of the chair; it is held on to the motor with four screws.  It will also work with the newer FBS motors that have the clevis mount system.

A: Check the clevis mount first, when they crack they jam the lift piston.

**Q: How do you sync up duel motors in lift chairs**
A: With the control box.

**Q: what is the size retracked and exsteded**
A: This MBZ Actuator Assembly is brand new direct from the factory, and it was used by Pride from the early to mid 2000’s up until a few years ago.  There should be a sticker on the side of your motor that says MBZ; If your chair only has one motor in the chair, then this should be the motor you need.
