So naturally, we were concerned about getting a proper fit. This will work great. It's a pretty well padded boot. But we made sure she wore kind of a thick sock to absorb any kind of sweat. You don't want the boot stinking. Then if it was loose at any given time, she was free to inflate it which made it nice and snug. This boot worked out really well. When she fractured her toes, the hospital gave her this goofy black shoe that kind of look like a duck foot. She couldn't even walk on it. So I would give the boot a try. If it doesn't work out you can always return it and get the next size up but I'm pretty confident this will work. We do have cam boots in our ER but I thought I didn't need it. I had an X-ray and went straight home. Next thing I know, the pain worsened and I couldn't walk. I bought this off amazon and got delivered the next day. When I say I couldn’t walk, I had this excruciating pain if pit my weight on my left foot. This is very easy and straight forward to use. The best part? It has this inflatable feature that will provide compression to help reduce the swelling. I am so happy I got this. The compression feature helped with my swelling and with my fast recovery. I told my coworkers about this because what we have at work did not have the compression feature. I even told the podiatrist that saw me and she wasn't aware there is such. I waited a month before my review because I want to ensure that this cam boot is durable and can withstand repetitive use. I must say, this helped me with my quick recovery although I still use it for the next four weeks. If you need a cam boot, this is what you are looking for. The sizing is accurate. I am guy and I use size 9.5 shoe and I chose medium. It fits perfectly! Now I can walk with no pain and it kept mobile while recovering.
